Outdoor Activities

There are various outdoor activity opportunities offered out here in Pullman whether that is hiking Kamiak Butte or going on a trip with the Outdoor Recreation Center.  For those who do not want to be active but still want to spend time outside, the dunes and the cliffs are only about a 45 minute drive from Pullman.  What's nice about Pullman is that there is lots nearby for outdoorsy people.

Although Pullman does not have an abundance of population chain restaurants, there are some fantastic local restaurants and coffee shops.  Restaurants such as South Fork and Black Cypress and coffee shops like Zoe's and Cafe Moro are the places to be!  Satisfy your hunger and thirst and check out what food and drinks Pullman has to offer!

For our magazine, we took a poll of 100 WSU students and asked them about their favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and sports.  We also asked students about living, transportation, recreational activities, and shopping.  Just click on the picture to check out our results!

Pullman and Moscow both offer a plethora of bars that appeal to multiple audiences.  There are bars for those who want to party and dance, for those who want to play pool, for those who just want to have a beer and socialize, or for those who just want to listen to some jazz music and snack on bar food.
