Party Smart

Written by Jake Scholl

1. Have a friend with you at all times.

2. Know your limits.  You won’t impress anyone with your drinking abilities if

you end up wrapped around a toilet.

3. Have a set pair of cheap shoes for partying.  Shoes rarely last the weekend in

Pullman.

4. Stay away from wine bags and other things that you don’t know where

they’ve been.  You will get sick and possibly contract certain other diseases.

5. Avoid drinking “jungle juice”.  There is no way of knowing just how much

alcohol is in each glass and a single cup could put you over your limit.

6. Don’t mess around with Everclear.  It never ends well.

7. Drink plenty of water or you will wake up in the middle of the night with

horrible aches and pains in all your muscles from dehydration.

8. Do not take Advil or other painkillers while drinking.  It can cause severe

liver damage.

9. Don’t mix any drugs with alcohol.

10. WSU's appropriate BAL for consent is .08.
